TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Bare Hands Bracelets. By accessing our website www.barehandsbracelets.com and purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. ORDERING & PAYMENT
- All orders are final once placed.
- We accept payments via secure payment methods, including credit cards and PayPal.
- Orders will only be processed once full payment has been received.
2. PERSONALISED & CUSTOM ITEMS
- As each Bare Hands Bracelet is handmade and personalised to your exact specifications, we do not accept cancellations, refunds, or exchanges once production has started.
- Please double-check all engraving details, sizes, and selections before placing your order. We are not responsible for errors made during checkout.
3. SIZING & RESIZING POLICY
- Bracelet sizes must be selected accurately at checkout. We require your exact snug wrist size (not the final bracelet size). We will add the necessary allowance for a comfortable fit.
- If you select the wrong size, we can resize your bracelet for an additional fee, but we cannot modify existing engravings or shorten a bracelet beyond its original structure. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
4. CARE INSTRUCTIONS & INSPECTION POLICY
To ensure the longevity of your Bare Hands Bracelet, we recommend:
- Avoiding water exposure – Remove your bracelet before showering, swimming, or washing hands. Water can cause leather to swell and weaken over time.
- Minimising contact with chemicals – Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, aftershaves, deodorants, and sunscreens, as these can cause tarnishing or deterioration of materials.
- Using a polishing cloth – Regularly clean the silver beads with a jewellery polishing cloth to maintain their shine.
Inspection Before Refunds & Exchanges
All returned items are carefully inspected for signs of water damage or chemical exposure before refunds or exchanges are processed. If we detect swelling leather, discolouration, or any other damage caused by improper care, we will not issue a refund or exchange.
Bare Hands Bracelets is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care, normal wear and tear, or exposure to water or chemicals.
5. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Due to the personalised nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item is faulty or incorrect due to an error on our part.
To be eligible for a return in cases of defects or errors:
- You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery.
- If the return is approved, we will provide a replacement or store credit.
We do not accept returns or refunds for:
- Personalised or custom-engraved items (unless defective or incorrect).
- Orders placed with incorrect engraving details, sizing, or selection errors.
- Items showing signs of wear, water damage, or chemical exposure (as outlined in our Care Instructions & Inspection Policy).
- Change-of-mind purchases.
6. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
- Orders are handcrafted and dispatched within 2-3 weeks (unless otherwise stated).
- International shipping times vary based on location and customs processing.
- Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by their country.
Once your order is shipped, we are not responsible for delays caused by postal services.
7. ORDER ISSUES & DAMAGED ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, you must:
- Contact us at info@barehandsbracelets.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Provide clear photos of the issue for assessment.
We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
8. RESIZING COSTS
As each piece is custom made, it’s important that we receive the correct wrist measurement. We ask for a snug wrist measurement, and we then allow a small amount of extra length depending on the design.
That said, we understand that some orders are purchased as gifts, or that occasional measuring mistakes can happen. In these situations, we do offer a resizing service. Please note that resizing involves additional time, labour, and materials, and therefore a fee applies.
- Bracelet shortening: $25 + return shipping
(Less work is required when shortening) - Bracelet lengthening: $55 + return shipping
(This covers the additional materials needed, which typically include new leathers and a clasp as a minimum)
9. WARRANTY & REPAIRS
- We stand by our craftsmanship, but natural wear and tear (including leather ageing, tarnishing, or accidental damage) is not covered under warranty.
- If your bracelet needs repair, contact us for a repair quote.
9. CANCELLATIONS & ORDER CHANGES
- Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once production has started.
- If you need to make a change to your order, contact us within 24 hours of purchase, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

10. RUSH MY ORDER OPTION
We offer a Rush My Order service for an additional fee. This prioritises your order, moving it to the top of the queue for faster processing.
- Standard Rush Order Processing: Orders placed Monday to Thursday are dispatched within 24 hours.
- Orders Placed on Fridays or Weekends: These will be processed the next business day, meaning they will be dispatched on Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a public holiday).
- Public Holidays: Orders placed on public holidays will be processed on the next available business day in Western Australia.
While we do everything possible to meet these timeframes, external factors such as courier delays may occasionally be outside of our control.
