Returns & Refund Policy – Bare Hands Bracelets
Effective Date: 11th March, 2025
At Bare Hands Bracelets, every piece is handcrafted and personalised to order. Because of the custom nature of our products, we have a strict no-return policy for personalised items. Please read the policy carefully before placing your order.
1. NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES ON PERSONALISED ITEMS
As each bracelet is custom-made to your specifications, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds unless:
- The item arrives damaged or defective.
- We have made an error in personalisation (e.g., incorrect engraving that does not match your order).
If you are unsure about sizing, engraving details, or other specifications, please contact us before placing your order at info@barehandsbracelets.com.
2. INSPECTION & CARE POLICY FOR RETURNS
We carefully inspect all returned items before processing refunds or exchanges.
- Bracelets showing signs of water or chemical exposure (e.g., swelling leather, tarnishing, or staining) will not be eligible for refunds or exchanges.
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in original packaging.

3. ELIGIBLE RETURNS (FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS ONLY)
If your bracelet arrives with a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, you must:
- Contact us at info@barehandsbracelets.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Provide clear photos of the issue for assessment.
- Return the item within 30 days of delivery (if approved).
Once the return is received and inspected, we will issue a replacement or store credit. Refunds are only processed in exceptional circumstances.
4. RESIZING & ADJUSTMENTS
- Bracelets cannot be shortened or resized once made due to their custom nature.
- If you ordered the wrong size, we offer a resizing service for a fee, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
To avoid sizing issues, please measure your exact wrist size snugly (not the final bracelet size) before placing your order.
5. CANCELLATIONS & ORDER CHANGES
- Orders cannot be cancelled or modified once production has begun.
- If you need to update your order, contact us within 24 hours of purchase, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
6. SHIPPING ISSUES & LOST PARCELS
- Once an order has shipped, Bare Hands Bracelets is not responsible for delivery delays caused by postal services.
- If your parcel is lost, please check tracking details and contact the shipping provider.
7. RESIZING COSTS
As each piece is custom made, it’s important that we receive the correct wrist measurement. We ask for a snug wrist measurement, and we then allow a small amount of extra length depending on the design.
That said, we understand that some orders are purchased as gifts, or that occasional measuring mistakes can happen. In these situations, we do offer a resizing service. Please note that resizing involves additional time, labour, and materials, and therefore a fee applies.
- Bracelet shortening: $25 + return shipping
(Less work is required when shortening) - Bracelet lengthening: $55 + return shipping
(This covers the additional materials needed, which typically include new leathers and a clasp as a minimum)
